"El cachaco" is a Digital Magazine created by philosophy, literature and design students from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Colombia's National University). Articles in "el cachaco" can be short stories, investigative journalism pieces, travel diaries and everything in between. I started Illustrating for this magazine on October 2016
Historias | Stranger than fiction
In my job Illustrating for this magazine I'm often challenged by the different voices, ideas and personalities of each of the writters, some of them expose their arguments very clearly and others are much more abstract, some of them are poets and as such, their words are harder to translate into a single picture.

After a year of working on this magazine, I have learnt to read between the lines, communicate better with authors and manage the balance between illustration and writing.

Series | Series
El Cachaco Magazine delivers a series of workshops on creative writing aimed to people of all ages who want to learn about fiction writing. Each workshop creates a lot of material and I've Illustrated some of the stories created by the attendees.
