The Problem
Our team needed to find a way to show all projects and participants in a way that was at the same time horizontal, cohesive but unique. Every project had its own personality so we wanted to show this uniqueness while keeping the website consistent and on brand.
Solution Overview
We designed a website based around the concept of a city, which can be explored and all projects can be visited as places in the same city. For the mobile experience we transformed the open city into a road, with different stops where users can visit each project they want to know.
Reflection and next steps
The final design was interactive, fun and delightful for participants, we would have loved to have more input from them to design the site but due to time constraints we designed a web experience that benefited all the stakeholders and gave each project the space it deserved.
